GapAlgo Momentum
RSI and Money Flow divergence, exhaustion, and a momentum read across three timeframes.
What it does
Momentum in one pane: RSI and Money Flow, regular and hidden divergence on both, exhaustion detection, and a dashboard that checks momentum on three higher timeframes, so you can see whether a move still has fuel before you take it.
How it works
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| Divergence | Pivots in RSI and Money Flow (5 bars each side) are compared with price. Regular divergence points to a reversal, hidden divergence to a continuation. |
| Exhaustion | RSI held beyond 70 or 30 for 6 bars in a row, and by default with a volume climax of at least 1.8x average volume on the bar. |
| Bias | A score out of 5: RSI and Money Flow on your chart plus RSI on three higher timeframes, each counted bullish above 55 and bearish below 45. |

How to read it
- White line = RSI. Blue line = Money Flow. Dashed lines at 70 and 30.
- Connector lines on the pane and on the price chart mark a divergence as it confirms. Hidden divergence is drawn in yellow.
- Exhaustion tag = RSI has been extreme for too long, often on a volume climax. The move may be running out of steam.
- Bias row = the overall verdict, for example BULLISH BIAS (4 / 5). The Momentum row shows an arrow for each timeframe.
Alerts
- RSI bullish and bearish divergence, regular and hidden.
- Money Flow bullish and bearish divergence.
- Bullish and bearish exhaustion.
To set one up, click Alert on the TradingView toolbar, choose GapAlgo Momentum as the condition, then pick the alert you want.
Tip
Check the Bias row before acting on a divergence. A bullish divergence while Bias is solidly bearish is a counter trend idea, not a green light on its own.
